Ever wondered who actually hosts a website — whether a competitor, a client, or a suspicious-looking store? Our Domain Hosting Checker investigates any domain using DNS records and WHOIS data: its IP addresses, reverse DNS, nameservers, mail servers and the organization on the WHOIS record, then infers the likely hosting company.
The detective work combines several signals. Nameservers often name the host directly; reverse DNS on the IP can reveal the data center; and the WHOIS organization field identifies the network owner. By cross-referencing these against known hosting fingerprints — from Cloudflare and AWS to GoDaddy, Hostinger and SiteGround — the tool names the probable provider.
SEOs use it for competitive research, buyers use it to vet a site’s infrastructure before acquiring it, and site owners use it to confirm their own hosting after a migration. Results come from live DNS and registry queries on our server — no external APIs, no signup, no cost.

FAQs
It says “Unknown” for the host. Why?
Some providers use generic reverse DNS or privacy-shielded WHOIS that hides ownership. The raw DNS records are still shown so you can investigate further manually.
The nameservers say Cloudflare — is that the host?
Not necessarily. Cloudflare is often just the CDN/DNS layer in front of the real host. Check the IP and WHOIS organization fields for the underlying provider.
Can a site hide its real host completely?
Largely, yes — proxies and CDNs mask origin servers by design. The tool reports what public records reveal, which is usually enough to identify the front-line provider.
