Age Calculator

How old are you — exactly? Not just the number of years, but the months, days, and even the total days you have been alive. Our free Age Calculator answers that from a single date of birth. Enter the date, click Calculate Age, and you get a precise breakdown: years, months and days, the total number of days lived, the day of the week you were born, and a countdown to your next birthday. It is fast, free, and needs no signup.

Because the calculation runs entirely in your browser, birth dates stay private — nothing is uploaded or stored, so it is safe to calculate ages for yourself, your kids, or anyone else. The math uses real calendar rules, so leap years are handled correctly. Whether you are filling in a form, settling a friendly debate, or just curious, you get an exact answer in one click.

Teachers use it for classroom demos, developers use it to sanity-check date logic, and the rest of us just enjoy knowing the exact numbers.

FAQs

Does it handle leap years correctly?

Yes — it uses real calendar math, borrowing days from the actual previous month and rolling months into years correctly, so February 29 birthdays and century leap-year rules are all handled accurately. If you were born on February 29, your birthday is counted on February 28 in non-leap years.

Can I calculate someone else’s age?

Absolutely. Any past date works, and nothing is saved, logged, or sent anywhere, so other people’s birth dates stay private too.

What if I don’t know the exact day?

The calculator needs a full date. If you only know the month and year, pick the 1st for an approximate age — the result will be within a month of the truth.
