Emoji Picker

The right emoji can rescue a flat subject line, clarify tone in a short message, or make a social post stop the scroll — but finding it usually means scrolling through an endless keyboard grid or googling “that one emoji”. Our free Emoji Picker puts around two hundred of the most-used emojis in one searchable grid: type “party”, “cat” or “thumbs up”, click the emoji you want, and it’s copied to your clipboard instantly. No signup, no app install, and it works on desktop and mobile browsers alike.

Emojis are organized into eight categories — smileys, people, animals, food, activities, travel, objects and symbols — so you can browse by mood when you don’t have a specific one in mind. Search matches names and keywords, which is much faster than paging through your phone’s keyboard. Clicking copies the actual Unicode character, so it pastes cleanly into documents, emails, social posts, code comments and anywhere else text goes. Copying happens entirely on your device with nothing sent to any server.

FAQs

How many emojis are included?

Around two hundred of the most commonly used emojis, across eight categories. The set favors emojis people actually search for rather than trying to list all 3,000+ Unicode emojis.

Will the emoji look the same everywhere I paste it?

The character is identical everywhere, but each platform (Apple, Google, Microsoft, Samsung) draws its own artwork for it — so a “grinning face” looks slightly different on an iPhone versus a Windows PC. That’s normal and unavoidable.

What if copying doesn’t work in my browser?

Modern browsers copy with one click. On older browsers the tool falls back to selecting the character so you can press Ctrl+C (or Cmd+C) manually.
