Image Resizer

Oversized images are the most common reason pages load slowly, and search engines penalize slow pages. Our free Image Resizer lets you scale any image to exact pixel dimensions right in your browser: set the width and height, keep the aspect-ratio lock on to avoid stretched photos, and choose PNG, JPEG or WebP output. A quality slider fine-tunes JPEG and WebP compression so you control the size-versus-quality trade-off yourself.

You see the original dimensions and file size before you start, then a live preview with the new dimensions and output size after resizing — no guessing whether the result is web-ready. The download is named sensibly, with the new dimensions baked into the filename so resized assets stay organized. Because processing happens on canvas in your browser, your images never upload to a server, which also means there is no queue and no waiting.

It is perfect for bloggers, SEOs preparing featured images, and anyone who needs exact dimensions fast. Pair it with the Image Compressor when every kilobyte counts.

FAQs

Will my image be stretched if I change only one dimension?

Not with the aspect-ratio lock on (the default): changing the width automatically recomputes the height, and vice versa. Uncheck the lock only when you deliberately want a different shape.

Which format should I choose?

PNG for graphics and anything needing transparency, JPEG for photos where you want small files, and WebP for the best size-to-quality ratio on modern browsers.

Are my images uploaded to a server?

No. Resizing happens on an HTML canvas inside your browser, so your files never leave your device — safe for client work and private photos.
