A great poster has one job: stop someone from twenty feet away and make them read the second line. Whether you’re advertising a concert, a conference, a school play or a product launch, our free Poster Maker gives you a tall, dramatic canvas and templates designed for distance readability. Enter your title, body text and date line, choose from four color schemes and three styles, and download a 1080×1920 poster PNG — no design software, no signup, no cost.
The 9:16 portrait format matches modern story-format screens as well as standard poster proportions, so the same file works pinned on a wall and shared on WhatsApp status or Instagram stories. Templates are generated entirely in code — layered gradients, geometric accents and framed layouts — which means there are no watermarked stock photos and your text never leaves your browser. The layout engine sizes your headline for maximum presence and keeps supporting text legible, so even a first-time designer ends up with a balanced composition.

FAQs
What are the poster dimensions?
The download is 1080×1920 pixels (9:16), ideal for stories, status updates and digital displays. It also prints crisply at smaller poster sizes like A4 and A3.
How is this different from the Flyer Maker?
The Poster Maker uses a taller 9:16 canvas built for headlines that read at a distance, while the Flyer Maker uses a squarer 4:5 format better suited to handouts and feed posts. Pick the format that matches where your design will be seen.
Can I add my own photos?
The current version draws everything programmatically for speed and zero licensing issues. For photo-based designs, combine your downloaded poster with an image editor of your choice.
