APIs hand you JSON, but your spreadsheet wants CSV — and hand-rolling the conversion in a formula is nobody’s idea of fun. Our free JSON to CSV Converter accepts an array of objects (or a single object) and produces clean CSV instantly. Headers are taken as the union of all keys in encounter order, so uneven objects never lose fields. Nested objects flatten one level with dot notation, like address.city, keeping hierarchical data readable in a flat grid. No signup, no upload.
Quoting is done properly: any field containing the delimiter, a quote or a line break is wrapped in quotes with internal quotes doubled, so the output imports into Excel, Google Sheets and databases without mangling. You can set a custom delimiter for semicolon-separated locales. The whole conversion runs in your browser, so private data stays on your machine.
Copy the CSV or download it as a .csv file. It is ideal for analysts exporting API responses, developers building reports, and marketers moving data into spreadsheets.

FAQs
What happens to nested objects in my JSON?
Plain nested objects are flattened one level with dot notation — {“address”: {“city”: “Lahore”}} becomes a column named address.city. Arrays and deeper structures are stored as compact JSON strings in their cell.
What if my objects have different keys?
Headers are the union of every key seen across all rows, in first-encounter order. Rows missing a key simply get an empty cell in that column — no data is dropped.
Will commas inside my data break the CSV?
No. Fields containing the delimiter, quotes or line breaks are automatically quoted, with internal quotes doubled per the CSV standard, so imports parse them as single cells.
