Meta Tags Analyzer

Your title tag and meta description are the two lines that decide whether anyone clicks your Google result — and the most common SEO mistakes hide right there: missing descriptions, titles cut off at 90 characters, duplicate H1s, absent Open Graph tags. Our free Meta Tags Analyzer fetches any public URL from our server and audits its on-page metadata in one pass: title and description with length checks against SEO best practice, keywords, canonical and robots directives, every H1 on the page, and all Open Graph tags found.

The result is a clean checklist of verdicts — what passes, what needs attention — built for SEOs auditing client sites, bloggers checking their own posts, and competitors studying each other’s pages. You do not need to view source or install anything; just paste the URL and the analysis appears. It is free with no signup, and each analysis is a fresh server-side fetch, so you always see the page’s current metadata rather than a cached copy.

FAQs

What title and description lengths are considered good?

Titles between 30 and 60 characters and descriptions between 120 and 160 characters generally display fully in Google. The analyzer flags anything shorter or longer so you can tighten or expand them.

Can I analyze a competitor’s site?

Yes — any publicly reachable URL works. That makes it a quick way to see how competitors write titles and descriptions. Pages behind logins or blocking automated requests cannot be fetched.

Why does the tool show no description for my page?

Either the page has no meta description tag, or the server could not retrieve the page (it may block non-browser requests). View the page source yourself to confirm which one it is.
