When someone shares a link on Facebook, LinkedIn or WhatsApp, the preview card — title, description and image — comes from Open Graph meta tags in the page’s HTML, not from the link itself. Without them, social networks guess, and the guess is often wrong: a cropped logo, a random sentence, no image at all. Our free Open Graph Generator builds the correct og:title, og:description, og:image and related tags from the details you type, ready to paste into your page’s <head>.
It is made for site owners, bloggers and social media managers who want every share to look deliberate. Enter your title, description, canonical URL, a share image (1200×630 works best) and site name, then copy the snippet or download it as an HTML file. Everything runs locally in your browser — no account, no tracking, no waiting. Pair it with our Twitter Card Generator for rich previews on X, and test the result with Facebook’s Sharing Debugger before publishing.

FAQs
Which Open Graph tags does the tool generate?
It outputs og:title, og:description, og:url, og:image, og:site_name and og:type — the six tags that control the preview card on Facebook, LinkedIn and most messaging apps. Only fields you fill in are included.
What image size should I use for og:image?
1200×630 pixels is the recommended size for Facebook and LinkedIn; it renders sharply on both desktop and mobile. Keep the file under a few megabytes and use an absolute URL (starting with https://).
Will these tags also work on X (Twitter)?
X reads Open Graph tags as a fallback, so the preview will appear — but for full control over X cards, use our Twitter Card Generator as well and include both tag sets in your page.
