Only need pages 5–12 of a 200-page manual? Our free Split PDF tool cuts any PDF into separate files by the page ranges you choose — for example “1-3,5,8-10” gives you three new PDFs. It runs entirely in your browser: no signup, no upload, no watermark.
Students extract chapters, accountants pull out single invoices from a batch scan, and lawyers separate exhibits from a filing. Each output file is a proper standalone PDF, named by its page range, so the results stay organized.
The split is lossless — pages are copied, not re-rendered — so quality and file size per page stay identical to the original.

FAQs
What format do the page ranges use?
Comma-separated ranges like 1-3,5,8-10. Single pages are just numbers (5), ranges use a dash (8-10). Pages are 1-based and must exist in the document.
Does splitting reduce quality?
No. Pages are copied byte-for-byte into the new files, so quality is identical to the original.
Can ranges overlap?
Yes — a page can appear in more than one output file if you list it in multiple ranges.
